RS Components now offers game-changing T1 single pair Ethernet connectors from Harting.

Compliant with the recently established IEC 63171-6 industry standard, the Tw1ster connector series comprehensively addresses the requirements within modern industrial settings for more compact, lightweight cabling. Through these cutting-edge interconnect components, both data and power can be transported simultaneously, thereby lowering the cost and engineering effort required in executing industrial network infrastructure.

The connectors support 1Gbps data rates. Covering a 1000m transmission range, they have Power-over-Data Line capabilities, offering up to 50W power. With high robustness, they have a -40C to +85C operational temperature range and can manage with over 1000 mating cycles. Among the many possible usages for these components are factory automation and process control systems, IIoT and robotics, enabling communication from field-level device connection to the cloud with no interruption or protocol-change.
